L.A. County Fair 2010

From legendary concerts to blue-ribbon winning recipes to dinosaurs running amok, the L.A. County Fair offers entertainment from every angle and for all ages. Don’t miss the End of Summer Concert Series with 19 nights of some of the best names in pop, rock, R&B and country, and adrenaline action of monster trucks and motocross. With all the excitement of Iron Chef, watch on-the-spot cooking and baking competitions in Culinary Styles. It’s still cool to win a blue ribbon at the Fair! Catch the excitement in our many attractions with dinosaur daze in Jurassic Planet, monkey business in Mojo’s Jungle and swashbuckling fun at A Pirate’s Life – Island Adventure. Don’t miss the high-flying adventures of the Stars of the Peking Acrobats® or the exhilaration of cheering on your favorite swine as they compete for an Oreo cookie at the Pig Races, two of the many shows running throughout the Fair.

Promotions and Discounts

Opening Weekend $1 Specials – Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, Sept. 4 – Monday, Sept. 6

• Admission –$1 from 10 a.m. – 1. p.m.. Regular admission rates apply after 1 p.m.
• Beverages – $1 for 22 oz. soft drinks at all food and beverage stands from 1 – 4 p.m.
• Carnival – $1 Carnival rides, games and select food and beverage items in the Carnival from 4–7p.m.

Season Pass – $24.95
Good for admission any day of the Fair for ages 6 and older. Show pass to a Fair parking attendant and receive a free parking upgrade ($5 value).

Advance Sales
General admission any-day tickets are available for $10 for adults and $6 for ages 6-12 with a minimum order of 20 adult general admission tickets. Tickets may be ordered on consignment with a minimum order of 100 adult general admission tickets. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are not available at the Fair ticket admission windows. Each Advance Sales ticket includes an exclusive unlimited ride carnival wristband offer (purchase required, restrictions apply). Weekday wristbands are $35 and must be purchased before 9 p.m. and are available for use until 11 p.m. Wednesday – Friday. Weekend wristbands are also $35 and must be purchased before 4 p.m. and are available for use until 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

College Thursdays
Specific college campuses will be featured each Thursday of the fair, with students, faculty and staff receiving a coupon good for one free admission on their respective college day. Alumni will receive half-price admission on their respective day. Coupon or voucher and official ID required for free admission discount and coupon required for alumni discount.

Community Days
$5 admission before 5 p.m. for community residents on their respective community day. Coupon or voucher required to receive discount.

A Weekend for Heroes – Fri. – Sun., Sept. 10 – 12
$1 admission for active and retired military, reserves, police, fire and paramedics along with one guest. ID required. All $1 admission proceeds will be donated to USA Cares.

Los Angeles County Day – Sunday, Sept. 12
$5 admission before 5 p.m. for all employees of Los Angeles County with discount voucher available from the County.

McDonald’s Wednesdays
$20 admission and unlimited ride carnival wristband with coupon available at participating Southern California McDonald’s restaurants beginning Aug. 30.

Online Pre-Sale Admission Tickets – through Aug. 31
$10 adult and $6 child any-day admission tickets are available online beginning July 1 through Aug. 31.

Ralphs Fun Pack – Wed. – Fri.
$28 Ralphs Fun Pack includes two weekday admission tickets, two five-ride carnival passes, two corn dogs or hot dogs and two 16 oz. soft drinks (available in carnival midway only) and in-store bounce-back coupons good for Ralphs food products. Fun Pack coupons are available at participating Ralphs grocery stores beginning Aug. 30.

Senior Wednesdays
$6 admission for seniors age 60 and older every Wednesday of the Fair.

$5 after 5 p.m. Wed. – Fri.
Admission is only $5 after 5 p.m. every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with coupon available online at lacountyfair.com. Coupon must be presented to receive discount.
