Welcome to The Fantastic Mom, the Number 1 SoCal Children Directory. This blog/review website was born from the need to provide other parents a common place where to post and find useful information about businesses and products, before making a decision. I hope this website will grow over time and shape the local business community (at least the one that serves our children) through parents insights and reviews.
The blog contains a directory section where I listed most of the children related local business I could find (you can help by submitting new ones), and a product section where you can find most popular children related products on Amazon, together with user reviews. If you find anything useful, please support this site by purchasing through the links provided.
The most important component of the site is your ability to add reviews describing the experiences you had with a local business and/or product. Ultimately, this will help other parents to not make the same mistake, or rewards deserving business that offered you and your children a good experience.
The registered users can also add their own blogs in the Blog section (through the Post->Add a Post option). This is very rare around the blog community, so please do not abuse it. Keep all the posts content related to the theme of this site, do not post advertisements and do not use improper language, otherwise you will be banned without warning. If you submit a useful deal/review/article/recipe/community announcement, credit will be given to your name. When you add a post, you can use HTML in the Post Body, enabling you to display rich content including images/movies (stored on other places as Picasa, Flickr or YouTube). Our team of editors have the right to remove any blog posts that do not contribute to the quality of the site.
